What we never ask for

This list is part of the product, not a policy footnote:

We could not receive your compensation even if we wanted to, because we never hold the details that would make it possible.

What we collect

To run the free check: the flight number, the date, and your answer about what the airline told you. No account is required and no email is needed to see a verdict.

If you pay for a letter: your name, email address, booking reference, and the number of passengers. Card details go directly to our payment processor, Dodo Payments, and never reach our servers.

If you ask us to watch a future flight: your email address and that flight. Used for that alert only.

Why

To perform the contract you entered into when you asked for a letter, and on the basis of legitimate interest to keep the service secure. Advertising and analytics cookies are optional, off until you accept them, and refusing them changes nothing about the service.

Where it lives, and for how long

Data is stored within the EU. A free check that is never paid for is deleted after 90 days. A paid claim is kept for six years, because that is the longest limitation period in the markets we serve and you may need the letter again.

Who else sees it

Dodo Payments processes payments. A flight-data provider receives the flight number and date — never your name. An email provider delivers our messages to you. If — and only if — you accept optional cookies, Google receives ad-measurement signals: an ad-click identifier, the fact that a purchase happened, and — for buyers — a hashed (unreadable) version of the email address, used only to match the purchase to the ad click. We do not sell your data, and with optional cookies refused nothing is shared for advertising at all.

Cookies

Essential, always on: the cookie that remembers your cookie choice, and what the claim flow itself needs to function. No tracking.

Optional, off until you say yes: Google advertising and analytics cookies (Google Ads conversion measurement and Google Analytics). They tell us which ads brought people who actually needed help. Your choice is remembered for six months, and you can change it any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer — refusing changes nothing about the service.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted, at any time, by replying to any email we have sent you. Every dead-end screen in the product also offers deletion directly, because if we could not help you there is no reason for us to keep anything.

You may also complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, or to the supervisory authority where you live.
