LAST UPDATED 30 JULY 2026 · DRAFT, PENDING LEGAL REVIEW
We check a flight against Regulation (EC) 261/2004 and, if you choose to pay, prepare a claim letter addressed to the airline in your own name. You send it. The claim remains yours throughout.
vola is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on this site or in the letter is a legal opinion, and we do not represent you. Compensation is decided by the airline, by national enforcement bodies, or ultimately by the courts.
We do not promise that any claim will succeed. The free check tells you how strong we believe a claim is, and where it is arguable we say so before you pay.
The airline pays you directly. We do not receive, hold, or transfer your compensation, and we never ask for your bank details or IBAN. The €29 is a card payment for the document, and is unrelated to any sum the airline may pay you.
If the letter we produce contains a factual error about your flight that we cannot correct, we refund the €29 in full. We do not refund on the basis that the airline rejected the claim, because the outcome is not ours to control and we tell you that before you pay.
You confirm the flight is yours and answer the questions honestly. Where an answer decides eligibility — whether you volunteered to give up a seat, for instance — an inaccurate answer may produce a letter that cannot succeed.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
